Project Overview
Deposits is a real-time FD (Fixed Deposit) rate comparison platform that empowers users to find the best FD returns across Indian banks. It offers a data-driven interface, educational resources, and a transparent banking discovery experience.
Objective
To create a user-centric platform that allows individuals to:
- Compare fixed deposit rates across banks by tenure and user category (e.g., senior citizens).
- Understand key FD concepts like DICGC insurance and TDS implications.
- Build trust through credible content, updated data, and intuitive interaction.

The platform, focused on accessibility, financial literacy, and trust-building, needed to accommodate both novice users and financially savvy visitors.
Typography

- Primary: Satoshi – modern and geometric sans-serif typeface for clarity and digital legibility.
- Secondary: System UI fonts for fast rendering and wide compatibility.
Color Palette

- Primary: Soft Blue (#EAF1FF) – enhances calmness and digital trust.
- Accent: Deep Charcoal (#1D1E22) – for strong text contrast.
- Highlights: Mint Green & Warm Yellow – used in illustrations to add vibrancy without distracting.

- Aggregate FD rate data from top Indian banks.
- Allow comparison by tenure, category (General, Senior Citizen), and bank.
- Educate users on FD insurance (DICGC) and taxation (TDS).
- Build SEO authority and user engagement through FAQs and blog content.
- Enable lead capture for further financial inquiries.
Proposed Solutions
- Built a modular data table system with filter logic for tenure and user type.
- Created collapsible FAQ components for better UX and SEO.
- Implemented a dynamic blog structure to improve organic search discoverability.
- Added illustrative educational cards to explain complex topics simply.
- Integrated a contact form for lead capture and query resolution.
